In May, Thoc is embarking on a major foreign tour that will give the Greek and Cypriot diaspora in Australia a glimpse of the contemporary theatre landscape in Cyprus.

The tour will visit Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne with last year’s hugely successful production of Makrikostaioi and Kontogiorgides, written by Alekos Sakellarios and Christos Giannakopoulos, directed by Panayiotis Larkou.

Thoc’s arrival is eagerly anticipated by the local Cypriot communities in the three cities, who have already made an invaluable contribution to the preparations for the tour and whose commitment to its success is extremely heart-warming.
